FutureFoodS key partners contributing in the FoSSNet Summit
Several key partners of FutureFoodS are actively contributing to the FoSSNet initiative, which is currently hosting its first Summit, 25-27 March in Oxford. It is the first one of a series, focusing on advancing food systems science.
The summit’s objectives include:
Defining Core Food Systems Science Concepts and Frameworks: Establishing a shared understanding of key terms, models, and objectives within food systems science.
Assessing the State of Food Systems Science in Europe: Presenting recent findings, mapping out current research and networks, and discussing priorities for the field.
Bridging Science and Practice: Facilitating dialogue on how food systems science can drive meaningful transformation across sectors.
Engaging Early-Career Researchers and Professionals: Involving emerging leaders as active contributors to conference goals through collaborative sessions that integrate fresh perspectives in food systems science.
This event is a great opportunity for FutureFoodS partners to collaborate with stakeholders across the wide spectrum of food system science. By aligning with FoSSNet, we can strengthen our collective efforts toward creating a more sustainable, resilient, and future-ready global food system.
